Inspired by Daniel Ponce Rusty Blade famicase art;
Rusty Blade was made for A Game By Its Cover 2022 jam

The game was made with bitsy 3d color. I made a special website so you can check the engine out: https://bitsy3d.xyz/

On a more personal note: this fictional cartridge didn't leave my mind from the moment I saw it in 2017 so 5 years ago... Until now! I am now finally free, and you can play this magnificent RPG from a person that never really played one themselves. Have Fun! This game is inspired by a halloween event in 2022

hey! I got stuck - I found a key which let me get into a secret room but then I couldn't leave again. Loved the aesthetic btw

oh no but thanks playing and highlighting this

Rusty Blade got reviewed by the Arcance Cache, our underground blog for underground games:

Their games don’t offer much gameplay – rather, think of them as interactive images. The controls feel a bit quirky, but dealing with them is worth it – your patience will be rewarded by great aesthetics and well shaped out contents.

Damn well done!

I simply love that review and your perspective of my games! Thank you for writing this!

Glad you like the review - you are welcome :)

Such beautiful dioramas. Knowing the inner workings of bitsy 3d, I commend your efforts. It must have taken so many hours to build all the rooms. I thoroughly enjoyed exploring every nook and cranny :)

Thank you so much your comment was the only comment I needed to hear :) and yeah it was pretty hard to build the dioramas but if you enjoyed it it was worth it
